George's twin switch feature allows you to change between vacuuming and spray extraction, or use both at the same time.

George is ideal for ideal for dealing with spillages such as washing machine floods etc. It should be mentioned that George needs to get into his wet clothes before tackling spillages so will need a hand slipping out of his dry filters before he jumps into action.

The soil extraction feature of the George consists of an internal tank holding the cleaning solution and a recovery tank which is part of the drum moulding. The drum is also equipped with a carrying handle for easy disposal of waste material.

When George arrived I couldn't believe all the accessories that came with him (and I make regular use of every one of them). The shampooing is really good, very thorough and I have saved my carpets from a number of things - including spilling a 5 litre pot of paint. The upholstery shampooing tool has been very useful bringing up a settee a treat and handy for accidents.

George is very good for regular vacuuming and I can do the whole house from 1 socket! He's also great for doing the car. I have even used the mopping/squeegee head for giving my tiled floor a thorough clean.

To be honest I can't really fault it and given that most of my family and friends have borrowed it on occasion they seem quite happy with it too.

I do not see my George retiring for a long long time.
